Therapy for neurodivergent adults

I have a particular interest in working with autistic and ADHD adults, including people who are diagnosed, awaiting assessment or beginning to explore their own neurodivergence.

Therapy provides space to understand your experiences and explore what support may be useful to you.

Neurodivergence and therapy

People come to therapy at different points in understanding their neurodivergence. You may have an established ADHD or autism diagnosis, be awaiting assessment, or be considering whether neurodivergence helps explain some of your experiences.

Therapy can provide space to explore these experiences without assuming that there is one way you should think, feel or respond.

My aim is to offer a practical and supportive space that recognises different ways of thinking and experiencing the world.

What can we explore?

Therapy can focus on the areas that are relevant to you. These may include:

Emotional regulation

Understanding emotions and developing ways to respond when they feel difficult to manage.

Identity & self-understanding

Making sense of your experiences and what neurodivergence may mean for your understanding of yourself.

Overwhelm

Exploring experiences of overwhelm and the situations or demands that contribute to it.

Work, relationships & daily life

Exploring how your needs and experiences affect relationships, work and everyday life.

You do not need a formal diagnosis to contact me about therapy.

1

Get in touch

Send a brief enquiry about what you would like support with. You do not need to provide detailed or sensitive information through the website.

2

Initial assessment

Our first session gives us time to explore your experiences, what has brought you to therapy and what you would like from the process.

3

Work together

If we decide to continue, we will agree an approach together and review how therapy is working as we go.
