Professional Referrals

I accept UK-wide online psychotherapy referrals from insurers, rehabilitation providers, EAPs and other organisations seeking therapeutic support for adults.

I have experience working within commissioned therapy arrangements alongside my private psychotherapy practice.

Working with professional referrers

I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Psychotherapist and Registered EMDR Practitioner with more than 25 years' therapeutic experience.

My integrative approach allows therapy to be considered according to the needs of the individual and the purpose of the referral, rather than assuming one therapeutic model will be appropriate in every case.

Referrals may involve assessment and an agreed course of psychological therapy, with the scope of the work established at the outset.

How referrals work:

1

Referral

Please get in touch with the referral details, funding arrangements and any requirements relevant to the proposed work.

2

Assessment

An initial assessment provides an opportunity to understand the individual's needs and consider an appropriate therapeutic approach.

3

Therapy

Where we agree to proceed, therapy is provided online with the scope and arrangements for the work agreed in advance.

Reporting & confidentiality

Where therapy is funded or arranged by a third party, any requirements for reports, reviews or other communication should be agreed before therapy begins.

Clients will be informed about the nature of the referral and any agreed information-sharing arrangements relevant to their therapy.

Confidentiality and its limits will be discussed as part of the therapeutic process. Any reporting requirements should be proportionate to the purpose of the referral and agreed within the terms of the commissioned work.

Make a professional referral enquiry

If you would like to discuss a referral, availability, fees or reporting requirements, please get in touch with details of your organisation and the proposed referral.
