Sandplay therapy

Sandplay offers a creative way of exploring experiences and emotions as part of the therapeutic process, without relying solely on words.

I currently offer Sandplay in person in Glasgow while undertaking professional training in Jungian Sandplay with the British and Irish Sandplay Society (BISS).

What is Sandplay?

Sandplay uses a sand tray and a collection of objects or figures to create images and scenes as part of the therapeutic process.

It provides another way to explore experiences and emotions, particularly when putting thoughts or feelings into words may be difficult.

I offer Sandplay as part of my wider integrative therapeutic practice, allowing us to consider whether this way of working may be appropriate for you.

My sandplay practice

I am currently undertaking professional training in Jungian Sandplay with the British and Irish Sandplay Society (BISS).

I am a member of the Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC), through which my Sandplay work is covered.

I believe it is important to be clear about my professional status: my Sandplay training is ongoing and I practise within the scope of my current training and professional practice.

Sandplay therapy in Glasgow

Sandplay sessions take place in person and are available to clients who can comfortably travel to or within Glasgow.

My private CBT, EMDR and integrative psychotherapy sessions are provided online, allowing me to work with adults across the UK.
